Allows you to assign any Finder selectable icon object (application, document, folder, AppleScript applet, server alias, volume, etc.) to one of ten slots, with each slot corresponding to a number (0-9). By hitting Command-Option-[digit], the Finder object is opened, just as if you had double-clicked on it in the Finder. Use Launch Key Control to select Finder objects. Launch Key Control also allows you to start and stop Launch Key at any time should memory become tight. This also means that a restart is not necessary in order to turn Launch Key off. Note, however, that Launch Key Control has the same functionality as Launch Key itself, and will also open Finder objects with the assigned hot keys regardless of whether or not it is in the front.
